I had been looking forward to this wedding for many months for a multitude of reasons. For one, they were my first clients I had ever worked with. They took a chance on me while I was still building out my website and working at the farmers markets. A mutual friend at the market got us connected and the rest was history!

When I had the opportunity to play the role of both “Wedding Planner” and “Maid of Honor” for my little sissy’s wedding, I knew it was going to be tough. But I couldn’t help but view it as an opportunity to challenge myself and take on what I knew would be the toughest wedding I would ever work…and by far the most fulfilling.

I could not imagine a better way to kick off the spring season. Last month, I had the honor of attending the Lovill House Sip & See. There is SO much I love about this venue. How they fully embrace the Appalachian culture, how they prioritize sustainability, the history and character this Bed & Breakfast holds within these walls, I could go on and on…
